Release Team for TYPO3 version 4.5

At the core team meeting in Elmshorn the new release team was formed.

On Monday the 29^th of June the release team for TYPO3 version 4.5 was elected. It was decided that we will have a team to release the new version rather then a single release manager. The Main Release Manager will be Ernesto Baschny. Ernesto worked a lot on frontend rendering and would like to put some focus on that again for TYPO3 version 4.5. The continuation of the usability improvements for the backend will be “The last 10%” he says. He will also be responsible for communicating progress on the current version. Steffen will be the Technical Release Leader. Steffen is one of the most active core team members and is currently working on a new Extension Manager already. Among Steffen's goals are to get rid of Prototype/Scriptaculous and continued Backend improvements with JS and ExtJS. Benni Mack, the release manager of TYPO3 version 4.4 will be there to support the team. Ernesto, Steffen, and Benni will have weekly Skype meetings together with Oliver Hader, core team leader, and Ben van 't Ende, product manager. Having more core team members in the release team will improve communication with the core team itself.
