TYPO3 4.1 Beta 3

The core team is proud to announce the third and last Beta of TYPO3 version 4.1.

Summary of changes:

• AJAX pagetree and filetree by Benjamin Mack <bmack * xnos.org>.
  That makes it much quicker to expand or collapse branches of the page or file tree in the TYPO3 Backend.
• Alphabetically sorted TypoScript tree in the TS Object Browser (by Ingo Renner)
• New feature for bidirectional MM-relations: It's now possible to save different relations to the same MM-table by means of so called "matchFields" (by René Fritz)
• Hide Workspace selector: The Workspace selector is now hidden for users who don't have access to the Workspace module or have access to only one Workspace (by Dmitry Dulepov)
• Some other crucial Workspace bugs are fixed
• A bunch of IRRE bugfixes by Oliver Hader

Thanks to the developers and all those who spotted bugs in the previous Betas!

Please test this release as much as possible, getting feedback is essential to ensure the quality of the new features. If you're e.g. using IRRE or any other of the new features in a project of yours already and discover bugs, please report them immediately to bugs.typo3.org!

For more info on the status of 4.1 projects, see the 4.1 development wiki page. The feature freeze and beginning of the RC phase is scheduled for Monday, 5th February which is directly after the TYPO3 Snowboard Tour. If no new bugs pop up, that means 4.1 final can be released Monday, 19th February.
